The Commando provides a good balance of firepower and mobility, working well with any combination of squad mates.  Armed with an advanced composite-plastic Howler automatic rifle, the Commando is able to deliver devastating damage from long range.  To better increase mobility, the Commando is equipped with mid-powered enemy detection gear and shields.

Specs: Moderate speed, moderate health/shield, moderate perception.

Bonuses: Long range damage bonus at high accuracy.

Armed with the deadly Black Lion rocket propelled grenade (RPG), the Gunner provides a major boost to a squad’s firepower.  The Gunner works most efficiently as a fire-support unit, augmenting a squad of more mobile Commandos and Scouts.  The Gunner also carries the heaviest shield system, enabling him to withstand a great deal of damage. Though he has the advantages of additional firepower and shield strength, the Gunner is slower and less perceptive than the other character types.

Specs: Low speed, high health/shield, low perception.

Bonuses: Area effect damage.

Wired for speed and detection, the Scout is equipped with dual small caliber Talon auto-fire pistols.  As a result, the Scout is far more effective in combat at point blank range.  However, the Scout’s value to a squad comes not from firepower, but from the advanced enemy detection gear she carries.  All of the Scout's radar information is conveyed to her squad mates.  Due to her light weaponry and shielding, the scout has good mobility, allowing her to penetrate enemy territory quickly and send back intelligence data.

Specs: High speed, low health/shield, high perception, propagated radar info.

Bonuses: Short range damage bonus when kneeling.

The stealthy TRS-16 Proximity Mine possesses Friend-or-Foe intelligence, activating only when sensing an enemy within range.  The Proximity Mine delivers a powerful small radius, electro-magnetical blast when detonated.  For accurate field identification, each armed mine is color-coded to the squad that places it.

The RS-8000 Grenade is an advanced hand held explosive device that is triggered shortly after being thrown.  The RS-8000 explodes with enough concussive force to damage multiple targets within the blast radius, making the Grenade extremely effective in enclosed or small areas.

The SS-1A Turret is a portable unmanned combat weapon driven by an advanced AI featuring a Friend-or-Foe enemy detection system.  When deployed in the field, it is an effective defense and deterrent system that can effectively protect a small area.

Lightweight and sturdy, the tripod-mounted LX-3 Camera is fast becoming a favorite recon device for ground troops operating in hostile environments.  The Camera’s surveillance information is transmitted back to all squad members, allowing them to keep an eye on strategically critical locations.

Crates dropped from the sky re-supply troops with basic items such as grenades, proximity mines, turrets, medkits, and ammo clips. Though tough enough to withstand the air drop, cutting edge technology has allowed soldiers to resupply from crates quickly without interrupting combat. Crates are not team specific.

The advanced AI of the Ammo Station allows for quick weapon recharging of all weapon varieties even during the heat of combat.  The Ammo Station is a welcome sight for those soldiers unlucky enough to have emptied their weapons on the field of battle.

Utilizing advanced re-constructive nano-technology
biotech agents and a variety of pain suppression chemicals, the Health Station is designed to keep a soldier on the field of battle even after sustaining what would normally be life-threatening injuries.  When utilized, Health Station begins regenerating damaged tissue at an advanced rate quickly returning combatants to field duty.

The ultimate 21st Century sporting event, Gunball gives new meaning to the phrase “contact sport.”  A lethal blend of football and firearms, the game pits squads against one another for control of the Gunball.  Each team begins the game in their Jump Zone with the Gunball located in the middle of the field.  The Gunball must be advanced across the opposing team’s goal line for points to be scored.  If a player with the ball is killed, that player “fumbles” the Gunball and it becomes free to be recovered by another player.  If a player makes it to the opposing team’s endzone successfully, his squad is awarded a touchdown worth seven points.  Each time a touchdown is scored, each squad is teleported back to their jump zone and the Gunball is placed at the Drop Zone farthest away from the scoring squad.

Flags are the primary objective in Capture the Flag games.  At the start of a game, all flags are a neutral color. When a player passes through a flag, it changes colors to reflect that his squad has secured it.  Points are scored by securing the most flags.  When the game ends, the winning squad is the squad with the highest number of flag points overall.  The maps feature areas of varying strategic value; a squad can score more points by securing an area with a larger concentration of flags.  The trick is to hold the largest number of flags for the greatest amount of time.
